I disagree. I grew up with George Michael and “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go,”

Goofy, yes, not political, yes, but it hits hard on some of us.

At least the NYTimes managed to get that right on the front page, even if it’s just under the story about the rich guy who died in his comfortable bed in his English manor house, interrupting his current project: writing a Showtime movie about himself.

Look buddy, another famous artist died in this dreadful year of losing great artists. It is news whether you like it or not. TPM usually does note the passing of famous artists and that does not make it like TMZ. If you don’t like it, fine, pass up the article, don’t waste your precious time making multiple cranky comments. You can always start your own news site and do it any way you like.

Keith turn 73 a few days ago. HBD Keith! That’s well within the course of a natural life, looks aside.

Peacefully died at age 53 is fishy, and in the coming days and weeks, we’re Bound to learn more fishy facts about the heartthrob’s life.

Your opinion. TPM has a nice reader community and, today being the definition of “slow news day,” this is news that will be another sad touchstone to this year. They mentioned it briefly. I don’t see the problem.

I remember when he touched an ungrounded mic in Sacramento in the mid-60s and nearly died. He’s a true survivor . . More power to him!
