This is good, we need the investigations. I know people here want to believe the Trump administration is the most corrupt ever, and while it may be it’s not enough to say it, or string together a few isolated incidents into a story…the right wing media did that with Obama for eight years. We need real investigations, that the majority of Americans can agree are fair and comprehensive, and that produce solid evidence, to ferret out what the Trump administration has actually done and keep them from doing more damage to the nation. That’s the only way to get the nation back on track…otherwise it looks like the same partisan witch hunt BS the Republicans pulled, and no one wins if that becomes the story.

I’m a little unclear why it took the GAO 4 months to write their response to a November 2016 letter. ? I’m still happy they are on the case.

The Government Accountability Office plans to investigate any conflicts of interest issues with President Donald Trump’s transition process, as well as whether his transition staff followed any available guidelines on communicating with foreign governments, the government watchdog confirmed in an April 5 letter to Democratic lawmakers.

I’d be interested in learning if they followed ALL available guidelines myself. Just following any guidelines is a pretty low bar, even for these people.

The GAO has done so many great investigations. If this one gets the full GAO treatment, that would be awesome!
