Rudy’s just doing his Winston Smith thing. Nothing at all remarkable about it in the bigger picture; it’s just alien, as a systematic process, to how you do things in a liberal democracy in a world where objective reality matters.
But actually, he thought as he re-adjusted the Ministry of Plenty’s figures, it was not even forgery. It was merely the substitution of one piece of nonsense for another. Most of the material that you were dealing with had no connexion with anything in the real world, not even the kind of connexion that is contained in a direct lie. Statistics were just as much a fantasy in their original version as in their rectified version. A great deal of the time you were expected to make them up out of your head…And so it was with every class of recorded fact, great or small. Everything faded away into a shadow-world in which, finally, even the date of the year had become uncertain.

We’ve come to this because it’s the only excuse left for the traitor sitting in the White House to use. I believe, or at least hope, it’s a bridge too far for most Americans.
Just this statement alone should be grounds for impeachment.

It is NEVER ok to receive foreign help to win an election, more so NEVER ok to ask that foreign adversarial nation to hack/steal documents (ala Watergate, Foreign Labor Version) or to share polling data or discuss campaign strategies to win a USA election, and to repeatedly lie, obstruct justice and abuse your power to cover it up!
Per redacted MR, there were numerous instances of “Collusion” but it cannot establish beyond reasonable doubt a Conspiracy…because of so much lying/invocation of 5A/“I do not recalls” and no in person interview with the subject - Individual1!
Numerous instances of collusion makes a mockery of our democratic elections and that makes “winning with foreign help” NOT fair, NOT democratic, NOT a sovereign exercise and thus should be deemed illegitimate!

I think Rudy was spilling this nonsense for the benefit of T rumpp’s base. The media is now accepting and reporting what actually happened. It’s explicitly detailed in the Muller report. Rather than give that a chance to sink in and change the base’s loyalties, Rudy is preempting that eventuality by telling them that whatever the media says about the Dotard, it’s all OK, that even if the report is true, it’s still not wrong, anyway. Don’t listen to the media. If the President does it, that means it is not a crime.

I think it’s May 7th.
What I like about this subpoena is that Nadler is going right after the issue of validating the Mueller Report findings. This is the quickest way to move public opinion and to build support for the view that Trump should face trial after he leaves office and be impeached on obstruction.
