what a fucking joke. I wish one of these idiots could win the primaries but I don’t see that happening. It reminds my of the the guy that ran against Mitch Mcconnell in Kentucky a few years back. I only remember his last name was green.
Republicans made their bed and all the nut cases they have produced are going to eventually doom them. I’m loving it!
I always check the “Remember Me” box, but it’s still hit and miss.
If I shut down my laptop I will always have to log in again.
If I click on a story, occasionally the comments page thinks I’m not logged in even if the main page says I am.
If I close the comments page and re-open it, sometimes the comments page suddenly realizes I’m logged in, but sometimes not. Once in a while, I might close and re-open the comments page three or four times, but never get it to recognize that I’m already logged in. Then I just give up and move to the next article.

How does Idaho go in the span of 40 odd years elect a Frank Church who chaired the Watergate era committee exposing the excesses of the intelligence agencies and was a stalwart environmentalist to militia supporter Helen Chenoweth who opposed protecting salmon because as she said you can just buy it in the can to this bunch of misanthropes consisting of a home school supporting mountain man and contestant in a Village People tribute band.

TPM: Brown, wearing a leather biker vest, explained how bikers have suffered discrimination. Brown said bikers “are cop magnets … They pull us over without probable cause and they bring out the sniffing dogs and they search us … the cops … zero in on you like a heat-seeking missile.”
Well, will you look at that? A Republican who experienced what it’s like to be black.
Not that Brown will learn any lessons from it.

Brown defended his infamous “Harleyisms” saying “I hit everybody. Jews, Polish people, Irish, Italians, religious jokes and black jokes.” He later said “I don’t like political correctness. It sucks. It’s bondage.”
Like I said, not that he’ll learn from it.

Yesterday somebody had posted a 3-minute distillation of the best of the best from this puppy on YouTube, but it got pulled down. I’ll betcha Reince Priebus suddenly realized this might not be a great reflection of the intellectual big tent of the GOP.
Trouble was, it now provides an incentive for folks to watch the long-form version. BTW…this whole thing apparently was aired live with a 30-second delay because one of the candidates had a well-documented habit of cursing heavily.
Could we ever have believed even a few years ago that a major political party would get this low…well there WAS the 2012 GOP Presidential campaign and all THOSE wonderful bright bulbs.
