Excuse me, you didnt happen to be a screenwriter for Deadwood, did you? It contained tens of of the most hilarious uses of the Male C Word every episode. There is a Youtube video called Deadwood Pancakes. And there was the famous classical scene between Al Swearingen and Mr. Wu, who only knew one word in English. You guessed it. Also the almost totally insufferable Inside the Actor’s Studio once had Holly Hunter win my heart because when asked what her favorite cuss words were, the immediate first answer was The Male C Word.
It is just unfair (as are SO many other things) that the femalel C Word describes innate anatomy over which a woman has no agency, whereas the male C Word is an activity that they would like to have performed to them yet the actor is scum. Homophobic and misogynistic.
I just coined that on the fly while trying to leave my apt for work. Other people spell out the word here, but I didnt feel comfortable doing that. As far as I know, I am the only person who has used that phrase, Male C word. Will confess that I didnt spend any time thinking of the implications.
Didn’t mean to imply any problem with how you framed it (I appreciate not seeing the word itself actually) but just the unfairness of the --dare I say it, patriarchal– english language
When the GOP Cocksuckers say ‘Democratic Party’ instead of the childish and totally ungrammatical ‘Democrat Party,’ I will use THEIR proper name.
