Putie’s people are at it again…
The scariest thing about these hacks and the weaponization of the information, I think, is the American Rethugliklans response to our own election. They have, implicitly, given the Russians outright permission to carry on these attacks with impunity.
Their overt acts of treason is both frightening and breathtaking. There isn’t a single patriot among them.
That said …
Fuck You, Sid McCrashcup!
And your buttboy Lindsay!
It’s not an involuntary tic, it’s a feature!™
Vunerability to hacking is not limited to election sites. Yesterday I had trouble with my Humana web site. They said to erase my cookies and temp files. WHAT? They obviously do not follow “Best practices”. Errors such as these are portals for hackers. This is sloppy web code that “just works” and they spend their money having people answer phones rather than fixing the holes. My health data on their site is open to attack.
Does anyone NOT know that the Putinites are behind this? France, please show us that you really are smarter than US!
Ah Putin strikes again. Hopefully the French people have seem enough from their American Cousins and and don’t fall for it.
They are. French people pride themselves on their sophistication in thought, unlike our pride in the dumbest of the dumb.
The French will simply shrug this off. Macron’s lead is even growing. Apparently there’s merely a mixture of practical emails mixed in with pretty obviously faked ones, so I doubt the French press or the French voters will take any of it seriously.
Many voters, however, don’t like either Le Pen or Macron. They fear her party’s racist past, while worrying that his platform would demolish job protections for workers. Students in several Paris schools protested Friday against both the candidates.
Sounds familiar…
Macron’s campaign is pushing just that message:
A painful video for us to watch, but smart of them to have created. “The worst is not impossible. Vote!”
