It goes exceedingly well with popcorn.
âLetâs you and him fight.â
Pass the popcorn.
Party of personal responsibility = blame everyone else for your failures.
Whoâd a thunk it?
Something this in the emo-left should learn from as well.
The Kochs were behind Huelskamp. While the Kochs generally control Kansas politics the ranchers in Western Kansas arenât as in love with the brothers as most of us might suppose. West of Salina Kansas is one of the largest wind farms in the country. The ranchers rely on the money they receive from the rental of their land to the power companies. The Kochs have demanded the state legislature end wind subsidies. Head to head with Koch Industries on wind power the ranchers have always won.
When their economic interests are on the line the farmers and ranchers of Western Kansas are a force. Apparently Huelskamp never understood the politics of his own district.
What did that old boy say, âAll politics is local.â
Brownback forces got decimated in primaries yesterdayâŚboth houses and leadership positions.
Another 30-40 Timmies get whacked and Congress might actually begin to operate like it is supposed to.
A decimation of the Freedom Lobby and Heritage Foundation forces would be great.
The primary was RIGGED, I tell ya!
One less sociopath bites the dust.
Sounds like someone is scaredâŚ
Moderate Republicans did very well in yesterdayâs Kansas primary, especially in Johnson County. According to the Kansas City Star: âif the moderates nominated Tuesday are elected in November, as expected, and form a coalition with Democrats in January, they may have enough votes to overturn several of Brownbackâs initiatives, including controversial tax cuts that are blamed for much of the stateâs budget difficulties.â I have a hunch that coalition is on the way. The moderate Republicans are pissed at the conservatives. Remember the first thing Brownback did was purge moderate Republicans from the legislature.

Hereâs hoping you are right!
Are we suppose to feel sorry for Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) who will be without a job, I think NOT. This guy along with the rest of his partners in the Freedom Caucus caused millions of Americans to lose their job by their actions and inactions since 2010. Now the American people needs to finish the job come this November and see that the rest of these GOP Clowns get to be unemployed so they can get a first hand taste of what they did to millions of Americans.
I am curious, what is the reputation of the guy who beat him? âMore conservative,â relatively sane? Good riddance to bad rubbish, in any case. Hmmm, sounds just like a certain junior Senator from Texas, whatâs his name? Compromise is not a dirty word, except to these ideologues. They will soon find that compromise is built in to our system. Itâs in the Constitution, which of course, most of them have never even read. If they do read it, they make their own interpretations. Howâs that working out for ya, Tim?
Please let the door hit you repeatedly on the way out you POS,
Letâs keep the wave coming so we can cause a tsunami and get ALL the GOP of of every office in the land. Then and only then will we move this county forward.
If you do not think the GOP are the problem then you name one thing they have done in the last 20 years and ESPECIALLY the 7+ that benefited the people.
No bias either. Name it and how it benefited you or your family.
Yeah, but he belongs to the Party of Personal Responsibility which means that his loss was obviously someone elseâs fault. I mean, how dare someone campaign against him!
They are completely immune to the irony of being elected to âchange Washingtonâ when in fact the only thing he or his constituents cared about was maintaining the various subsidies and supports that Washington gives to farmers. Change is strictly for other people.
Something that we on this forum might keep in mind as we choose our words.
It seems to me weâve been getting a bit over the top of late.
Not without provocation, granted, but the lesson still applies.
It canât be true that he never understood. Thatâs why he begged to be on the committee and to get back on it after he was thrown off. What he didnât understand, evidently, is that his own party would make him pay for his willingness to make other Republicans look bad. Loyalty is always a one way street for flame throwers.
Republicans reduced to cannibalism, eating their own.
Where is the bottom before they pull their $hit together?
You are next, MFâer
