Alito’s confirmation was not filibustered. The Dems considered a filibuster, but it was voted down and his confirmation proceeded normally.

Well, be fair. He doesn’t have to do ANYTHING to “make” the Republicans look like pathetic,lying,idiots. They do that on their own just fine.
He just has to point it out to the MSM who seem incapable of noticing or reporting on it.

Thank you. Obama was one of 24 Dems and Independent who voted for a filibuster (including Biden, Clinton, Kerry, Reid), but other Dems shot it down. Alito was confirmed a few days later.

The only thing the GOP had going for it were the 5 conservative justices on the supreme court. without that 5th vote they are going to have a harder time forcing their right wing ideology on Americans
