I still can’t fathom why he fucking resigned. If Ted Kennedy can weather Chappaquiddick, Al Franken can certainly weather a few iffy allegations of sexual misconduct. Put your fuckin’ head down, don’t say a fuckin word, and wait it out. Six weeks from now, nobody would even remember it.
But nope. Dems always gotta go around punching themselves in the face. “That’ll show them dasterdly conservatives!”

If this is the photo in question, there is no basis for her accusing Franken, unless the groping happened after the photo, which I’m sure he’s going to have accomplished with the photographer and, presumably, others looking on. Sigh.

No, she very specifically made sure to claim that he did it BEFORE the photo and that she removed his hand before the shot was taken. You know, because after a good groping of one of your sexual organs in front of others in public, including the person who was taking the photo, you always go through with the photo while smiling like a tickled clown.

Some day when trump is a distant bad memory I hope that the various news outlets will be able to report news. The rest of what I would want (civility, equal treatment for men and women, government service for the betterment of all of us rather than just the individual politician or donor) are likely just pipe dreams.

Franken has resigned, this is no longer a public matter. I and my advertising dollars will be focusing on other news items reference former Senator Franken moving forward.

You know whats really amazing, for all the times Franken apparently groups people while someone is taking a picture, its just amazing how the person taking the picture always seems to wait until after the groping is done.
Just amazing, of the odds that they always wait, even when said groping was said to be like 5-10 seconds.
