Discussion: Fox: We Refused To Donate Money For Trump To Appear At Our Debate

Discussion for article #245264

Roger Ailes had three brief conversations with Donald Trump today about possibly appearing at the debate – there were not multiple calls placed by Ailes to Trump.

Unless there is a new meaning to the word multiple of which I was unaware, three qualifies as multiple.

When did she become a journalist? Man, real journalists should protest having their title cheapened by the likes of one M. Kelly!

I guess they’re saying Trump called them twice? Then why not say Trump called them twice? Also, who cares.

Would this be considered blackmail?

Ailes had someone else atually PLACE the calls for him.

Yes just like it was for CNN with a previous debate (the same amount, by the way).
Trump says, give me money that my likeness can make you more money.
And that is what his whole life is about: pimping his brand. Infuriating as hell and kinda sad when you think about it.

I heard tRump say in the beginning of his one-act play that Carl Icahn donated something like $500,000 to this concocted vets group this event was meant to support. Carl Icahn is a vulture capitalist and tRump supporter. Icahn is of those hedge fund guys too that tRump enjoys railing against.

tRump also said he gave $1 million as a donation. But since his own money goes to Donald tRump for dispersal, coming from Donald tRump doesn’t seem like much of a donation. Talk about a fungible funny money.
