Discussion: Fox Promises To Tune In To Press Briefing As Soon As #Benghazi Gets Brought Up (VIDEO)

That will be the day, sadly. Fox and the GOP set the media’s agenda, and even the NYT is right in there writing R.I.P. on the Obama presidency.

“Thats right, we won’t cover the President unless it supports our narrative! That’s Fair and Balanced!”

This is actually outrageous. We won’t report on anything the President of the United States does or says except what WE want him to say? Talk about a slaveholder mentality: you can’t give a black man freedom of speech even if he is the president.

Shouldn’t Fox be blackballed from the WH press corps for this?

A confrontation with Russia over the Ukraine does not warrant the attention of the cardboard cutout “news anchors” of Fox. Then maybe Fox doesn’t warrant the attention of Americans. But maybe Australians will continue to be interested. Rupie, go home!

This is just an extension of what they’ve been doing all along except they feel a need to be seen as taking a principled stand in this instance.
Not journalistic principles, mind you, but that’s something they’ve never bothered themselves with in the past anyway,
No, this is about creating the alternate reality as dictated by Ailes in pursuit of an agenda.
It’s no secret-everyone knows that they’re a propaganda outlet.
Stop legitimizing them by granting them press credentials.

FoxSpews’ new slogan: “Fuck it, You Guys Know We’re Not Fair and Balanced, So STOP ACTING ALL OUTRAGED AND EVERYTHING!”

A fake broadcast on Fox one day: “…Laura, I’m bringing you actual footage of our Lord, Jesus Christ, walking among us, and he’s with Moses and the new St. John Paul, and they’re conversing about helping the poor and the least among us…oh, but not about Benghazi. Sorry, folks, nothing to see here…in other news, we have the designer of Hillary’s pantsuits on next. Now a message from Exxon.”

Note to Fox news: News usually involves more than one story. There are more happenings in the world than just what happened in Benghazi in Sept. 2012. Reporting only stories about Benghazi and eventually even your low information knuckle dragging base will get bored and change the channel.

I guess the regular Fox network will now show old Ben Casey episodes.

The four who died at Benghazi seem to be the only government employees that FNC care about. They gave Bush a pass for the 4500 Americans who were killed in Iraq and the media black out when their remains were returned to the states.

That’s what they call “fair and balanced”…

But the suspense over whether or not they get off the island this time is much move palatable than the stress over whether or not Fox will actually provide news in any given broadcast.

They would love being blackballed over this. They immediately get to play victim while simultaneously saying they were blackballed because they are on to something really big.

No channel is acting like spoil kids but fox news. Not even CNN with all of their missing plane stuff. fox news turned away last week, when 2 world leaders were talking about important event of the world.

PS… the fox news talking heads has been given instructions by Ailes and Murdoch, to bring up Benghazi every other second. fox news has left mother earth, to become walking talking Benghazi zombies

It’ll give the channel more time to feature their chosen wingnuts spouting off fact-free to the brainwashed audience of frightened old farts sitting in their La-Z-Boy recliners.

Faux News – We Distort, You Deride

Fox has clearly dropped all pretense of being a news organization. It’s clearly become the house organ of the Republican Party. How could it NOT be so, when its viewers are overwhelmingly white, southern, conservative Republican – and aging?
