Discussion for article #227247
The problem with police brutality is Michael Brown.
Because it takes a perp and a victim?
Don’t tarnish the image of the Senate, if you can’t stand behind those remarks.
Tarnish the image of the senate? She knows that David Vitter likes to be swaddled, watch hookers have sex with other guys, and pose as a conservative christian publicly, right?
Everyone knows that honkers are just demanding to be honked.
Duh.
“My husband is a congressman, and I will tell you that he is very
professional, and I can guarantee you if there were any interns
following behind him, I would be right there,”
Of course he behaves himself, when you are around.
Excellent point. Gillibrand needs to go back in time and denounce something that happened before she was a national political figure!
Well, it goes without saying which Congressman-husband will next be caught in an inappropriate relationship with a staffer.
That’s right. Rachel NEVER spoke harshly to a boor in her entire little life. She just put up with them like the wimmins are supposed to.
“After being reminded by fellow host Kimberly Guilfoyle that sexual
harassment is a genuine issue, Campos-Duffy agreed, saying she wished Gillibrand would have shown similar outrage at the Clinton
administration’s treatment of Monica Lewinsky.”
Gillibrand was a lawyer in NYC at the time.
Translation: These bitches just need to shutup and putout then there wouldn’t be any harassment
Hmm. I guess I need to see about arranging to share an elevator with her.
What a tool. First she says she can’t imagine the harassment would have happened (the Senate being filled with virtuous men and all) and then she says of course it did (well, as to Clinton of course)
What is she, 20? I recommend she talk with women who have been in the workforce for several decades (and other women in the halls of Congress) and find out what is really going on in the big bad world, rather than MTV…
“Former castmate on MTV’s “The Real World”” That sounds about right…
“…and I can guarantee you if there were any interns following behind him, I would be right there,”
What the hell does that mean? It sounds like she doesn’t trust her husband, if she needs to be right there, that implies that if she’s not there something’s going to happen.
When she’s not around, there aren’t any damned interns following behind him, that’s for damn sure!
It was the Diaper’s fault.
“I say spill the beans,” she continued. “Don’t tarnish the image of the Senate, if you can’t stand behind those remarks.”
What image?
Campos-Duffy, who is married to Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI), went on unmoved: “My husband is a congressman, and I will tell you that he is very professional, and I can guarantee you if there were any interns following behind him, I would be right there,” she said.
I don’t normally wish for Schaendfreude-inducing occurrences, but in this case…
I have to admit it’s difficult for me to imagine that sexual harassment would be prevalent in a mostly male body whose primary activity is the nearly consequence-free assertion of extraordinary power over the lives of millions of people. Further, what better testimony could we ask for to refute the allegation than that of the spouse of one of its members?
