My guess is that Trump will appear in the debate after talking to Murdoch personally and being assured heāll be treated fairly.

Donāt be fooled. They want to give the appearance of mutually assured destruction, but itās all really mutually beneficial kabuki. Derpy-D gets to polish his street cred as a media-hating cowboy maverick and Faux gets to point at this manufactured and totally fake pissing match as evidence of their ājournalistic integrityā and āindependence,ā despite the fact that Faux has scheduled so many debates for the GOP/Teatrolls that they should be considered contributions in kind in the form of advertising and free air time for the GOP/Teatroll candidates.
Reality: Trump is too much of a narcissistic attention whore to let the opportunity pass and Faux is not about to give up on having him on stage for viewers/ratings. This scripted nonsense will resolve itself with some phony glad-handing ācompromiseā and Captain Vienna Fingers will be blustering away per usual during the debate.

Bingo. But who knowsā¦Iāve been wrong before. Iām just so very tempted to bet that Derpy-D gets what he wants in the end here and Faux folds in some uber-convenient manner late tomorrow, so much so that the whole thing looks too cute by half in retrospect.
Interesting that this continues to escalate. If this isnāt a farce, Fox is playing with fire if Trump goes on to get the nomination.

Trump has already won. If the losers at the ādebateā spend much time dealing with Trump, The Donald wins without even being there. The media will flock to whatever event Trump puts together with the āWounded Warriorsā group and he will still win. After the ādebateā most of the questions will be about Trumpās absence, and so he wins. The other Rightie WooWoos will go after Cruz big time and that also works in Trumpās favor; they do his dirty work and heās doesnāt even have to be there.
I donāt think his missing the debate will hurt the self promoting and marketing a-hole at all. His move is calculated and his followers, read worshippers, are going nowhere except to support him.
In any case, this is just almost too much schadenfreude for me to absorb! Gawwdā ā¦love it!
