Huh? Feingold is destroying Johnson in the polling. In Pennsylvania McGinty is beating Tommey and the latest out of New Hampshire actually has Hannsen ahead slightly over Ayotte.

We have to fight and fight hard to win other seats as well, but we can win back the Senate.

Sorry. But we can’t count those chickens. And even if Trump implodes utterly. They will scapegoat any electoral disaster on him not being a “real” conservative, and that he was a flawed candidate.

We have to fight until Nov. and past it. To utterly destroy the GOP in its current incarnation so as to create the space where a sane, moderate loyal opposition can grow out of its ashes. If for no other reason than to keep the Democratic Party honest.

There is NEVER any moment in which there can be any relaxation. There can be jubilation…but I fight much better jubilated!!!

Also, the GOP richly deserves more than they will probably have to suffer through. I know personally children who will have nightmares for the rest of their lives directly attributed to Trump. Moreover, the fuckers on that Tube will spin whatever makes a good HorseRace.

My favourite visual metaphor is an old “Spenser for Hire” episode in which, at the end, Spenser’s buddy Hawk had his pistol trained on the skull of the murderous perp until the door of the paddy wagon closed. Until Trump leaves this earth or resigns his campaign or is replaced by the GOP or loses, my default position is:

“He can win”

And, like you imply, when Hill wins, then the real work starts
