There is an ad in Missouri showing Josh Hawley delayed the investigation Gov. Eric Greitens for 12 months then the St. Louis prosecutor took over. I had heard about the charges about Greitens for months and no action by any government agency, then St. Louis (liberal area of Missouri) started action against Greitens. It was about two months ago that Hawley sent the St. Louis prosecutor the information on his independent investigation of the Greiten charges. If Hawley had his own investigation, why didn’t he charge Greitens and not just take $50,000 from him. After St. Louis acted on the charges, the Republicans finally got on the right side of history.

Not necessarily, Greitens blew up the hopes of Catherine Hannaway in the primary. Hannaway had the back of the old guard in MO, while Greitens came out of left field-literally. And here Hannaway is one of his lawyers.
On a side note I went to college with Cathy Moore Hannaway, boy has she changed since then.

I take it to mean that he’s making shit up. If he identified these mysterious forces, it would be too easy to check on his claims. He did all this to himself, figuring that nobody would question the hotshot ex-seal who started a charity.

He did call it a witch hunt but this is Missouri, not DC. It is the “Show Me” state, he could not find any witches or anyone to lie like the Republicans do in DC.
