Anyone wanna bet that they have done focus group studies on every level of their viewership all the way from the few intelligent folks who watch FOX rarely down to the regular rank and file viewers with bent minds and bad attitudes, and THIS is what dilates their pupils at the bottom of that ladder?
I’ve seen it in the eyes of relatives who have ODS (Obama derangement syndrome) the word “Benghazi” flips their switches like nothing else.
Some of these were the same people who jumped to Cloven Bundy’s defense before he stuck his bigoted boot in his mouth, now they can’t go there, so they’re reviewing the Benghazi delusion as their last chance at internal and mutual validation, even if the facts defy their suppositions.
Benghazi is nothing more or less than the only thing they think they have, but they really don’t have it.
Or something like that.
The fact they are rebuilding this falsehood into a meme is just proof they depend on stupidity and prejudice for their support. But we also know how much of that is floating aronund out there, so the only real question is, will we have to wait for the FOX news generation to die off or will there be some enlightenment on the right that removes this stigma from their story.
I would guess the former, not the latter.
