Discussion: Fox News Chief Roger Ailes: 'I Like Joe And Mika' At MSNBC

Discussion for article #235135

is he willing to pay cash for them since there isn’t anything on his team to trade… maybe $1000 and a couple bats?

“I tell you who I do like at MSNBC — I like Joe and Mika,” he added.

Well, now, I’ll just bet you do. Joe and Mika have sucked up to the likes of Scott Walker, Chris Christie, etc., and recently blew the Kochs. Joe is nothing if not a control freak who must always have the last word and Mika has morphed into a smiling bobble head. Most all of the shows guests and panel shut up and let Joe walk over them. I stopped watching a couple years ago when Joe had a hissy fit with regards to the SCOTUS case involving Proposition 8, lamenting “Well, what about all the millions of voters who supported Prop 8? – they don’t have a say?” No, Joe, you can’t be so dumb as to not know that ANY law is subject to Constitutional scrutiny – laws enacted by state legislatures, Congress or executive orders by sitting presidents and governors, or ones voted in by the voters themselves. Seriously, I lost what little respect I had for you that day when you got butt-hurt over the Prop 8 supporters losing. I just know you know how our government works – but the animosity you have toward marriage equality shined brightly. Asshole. Oh, Ailes is an asshole as well.

well, of course, ailes like that msnbc line-up. they’re getting crushed in the ratings… morningbro consistently comes in last … hell, even headline news usually out performs that horrible show.

Thanks to Mika for allowing Joe to continually remind us that he is a small government conservative who was elected to Congress by the Uninformed voters from the panhandle of Florida in the "90s. Mika, I don’t know how you put up with the know-it-all in your face ego that is Joe. Just don’t sell out and go with Joe when he goes over to the Murdoch/Ailes unfair and unbalanced channel that is masquerading as news.

Ailes likes an intern-killing former Republican congressman and his blonde weak-willed sidekick? What a shocker.

The names mentioned in this article…Morning Joke, Meeka, Blech, O’LIElly, Limpass, et al…you can throw them all in a hefty garbage bag and toss them all into the trash. They, more than all others, are the reason journalism’s downfall from its lofty perch has devolved into a never-ending game of chasing ratings and ad revenue, thoughtless faux reporting, poorly-sourced news articles, and rote political messaging, instead of professionally reporting the fucking news. While real reporters allow themselves to engage in the same behaviors as these assholes, they’ve all lowered the standards of their industry and become as discredited as their ratings-seeking role models. Until around 15-20 years ago, I never knew what any reporters political leanings were…and I liked it that way. There were NO OPINIONS ALLOWED unless clearly labelled an editorial comment. So fuck them all.

And while The Columbia School of Journalism gives its investigative time to researching the UVA rape article in Rolling Stone, just once I’d like them to take on the on-going mess in journalism created by the rightwing conservative movement on fucking cable TV with Ailes as chief muckraker and not-so-disguised political operative. But no, they won’t touch that…Those kind of lies, that get told daily, with no sourcing whatsoever are just F.I.N.E.

Fucked Up, Insecure, Needs Help. Emergency.

If you like them so much Ailes why don’t you hire them at Fox. I would be really happy to see them go bye bye from MSNBC.

Please Roger, take them. Please! Its a win-win for me. I might find the show marginally less irksome on Fox. More importantly, we might get a new, and hopefully better, show on MSNBC

“I flip to MSNBC occasionally to make sure their blind pig didn’t find an acorn,” Ailes joked in a profile published in the Hollywood Reporter on Monday. “But they never have once.”

Wow. Talk about the crow calling the raven black!

Well, Morning Joke, don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

Roger needs Jinny Craig desperately. As for Joe and Mika, moving to Fox is an excellent idea.

Even he can’t stand his own programing any longer. When Morning Joe looks good to you, you’re obviously sick of all the crap you have been producing.

So Roger, when are you going to fire O’Reilly for being a serial liar and exaggerator as a reporter? If you’re really a news channel as your own logo says, shouldn’t your people be held to the same standard NBC News holds its own?
