I have a friend (whoâs a liberal working in that cesspool) on the team behind the scenes that analyzes and tracks polling information. I very much trust his judgement because heâs on that same team that called the election for Obama in 2012 much to Roveâs disbelief. If theyâre calling it for Gardner I have to sadly say itâs over for Udall
Smh. 2006,2008,2010 and 2012 were wipeouts in CO. Wtf?

I have to agree. I donât understand why people in general, not just pols think infighting will win them the argument on any front. A united front is always hard to beat. Have a little spine Dems. Instead of Dems taking advantage of GOTP infighting with Cruz/T Party nuts and Company they adopted the GOTP anti Obama narrative and cowed. They couldâve run on 5.9% UR and touted down from 10%, they couldâve touted gaining 200 K+ jobs monthly reversal from losing 800K month with GOTP pols, bashed GOTP on costly anti Obamacare repeal votes & taking away cheap healthcare, medicaid, bashed GOTP on shutting govât. Deficit control by ending the wars, diplomatic foreign policy instead of costly war. Health care costs down, and available for more people. What the heck is wrong with Grimes, Udall, Pryor and Nunn. All they had to do is tout Obama/Dem policies. Even if they were hated, voters would respect them & vote for them. Squandered.

It didnât look good for Udall, but the female vote targeting was a smart strategy. But he needed to target Latinos too with immigration reform. Scare them to vote or GOTP would not pass a bill Latinos would approve of.

Agreed. The problem is itâs NOT Udall whoâs losing. Itâs we the American Middle Class people beat by the 1% oligarchsâ dark money again voting against our better interests, willing lambs unknowingly going to the slaughter.

The Democrats have, pretty much, been unwilling to fight to the end. They play to the mythical âaverage voterâ, which is a creation these days of FOX News and Roger Ailes.
Dems could have fought this on so many levels, and yet, they refused. People are upset over the economy- well, they donât seem to get that the reason the economy is in such shambles is that the GOP have, at the local level, done everything they can to hand money over to the Koch Brothers.
The Dems NEEDED to use Kansas as their exemplar and say âThis is what the GOP paradise looks like- no jobs, no roads, no schoolsâŚjust your tax money going to the ultra-rich.â Screw being told theyâre waging a âclass warâ because, right now, the Rich are waging war on the Poor, and guess who is winning!
Youâve clearly not met the special breed of fundies we have in Colorado Springs. Or maybe you have and your brain has blocked it out as a part of itâs self preservation protocol.

I was going to say the same thing. Kansans have re-elected the same people robbing them blind. This is unbelievable. Can people really be this incredibly stupid & cynical. Itâs shocking. Then again, Dems refuse to come right out & tell the favorable truths about their policies like GOTP tell lies like theyâre breathing. They do have a gift for sure in deceit & subterfuge.
