Mr Will is full of crap. He should stick to commenting on baseball and leave news to the grown-ups.

Really, could Hume & Will actually, you know, quote the Prez or the AG “playing the race card.” I think what they really mean is, "Black guys are supposed to shuffle and say ‘yes suh!’ not response as if they were the equals of white men. The racism just drips off of comments like these as a kind of vile poisonous sweat.

Jack, I know Will’s history in baseball. He considers himself an expert. He isn’t. But he does have some knowledge. Where he gets to say liberals have no ideas I’ll never understand. I was about to go off into a screed but I’ll choose to stay on topic and stop there.

If Will and Hume had their way,the racial component of the GOP/conservative commentariat’s opposition to Pres. Obama and Atty. Gen. Holder would be swept under the rug.

Maybe other AGs have had a rough time in front of Congress, but the level of blatant disrespect is something I haven’t seen. Gohmert is a disgrace. He is too stupid to attain the level of moron

“Liberalism hasn’t had a new idea since the 1960s - except Obamacare” - uh, George, didn’t you just contradict yourself there?

Actually, we have a few other ideas - ideas that have proven to work - like raising the minimum wage, investing in infrastructure, or - brace yourself - actually paying for the government we really want. The GOP has tax cuts, social spending cuts, and “underpants”.

Someday, someone’s going to write the full story of how ABC News went from being an innovative leader in the 80s - think Nightline - to a feeder for Fox News geriatrics. It was very cunning, and certainly helped pull my father along (sigh).
