Discussion: Fox Host Whines That Jon Stewart 'Is Shooting Fish In A Barrel' (VIDEO)

Thing is, there’s nothing about being on a live broadcast that actually forces you to do things like ask if having a female pilot from the UAE attacking IS forces amounted to “boobs on the ground.” It just means you can’t take it back when you realize what a colossal ass you’ve made of yourself.

It’s not even fair picking Bolling for FOX Asshole of the Day. That would be like shooting fish in a barrel.

@Bolling: If you can’t handle being responsible for what you say on live TV, then don’t go on live TV and say the first thing that pops into your head.

The job offers are pouring in for Eric just in case Fox fires him:

Headline editor … save the the first three words of your headline, because you can use it in any and every case that you report on this asshole.

Poor butt-hurt Eric “glass jaw” Bolling. He’s tiny.

From what I was reading on teh twitter, people who have gone to his taping saw them do a single run through; comparing that to the final broadcast version was consistently described as minimally edited. That sounds like how a professional would conduct their business, not the “fish in a barrel” idiots at Flossed News.

I wonder if she had this kind of moment?

So his statement the other day that Christians have killed “zero” people was merely a product of “live TV”? At the time I commented “Bolling makes infinity stupid statements.” What he said today does not disabuse me of that notion.

Stewart versus Bolling live. Now that I’d love to see. Jon was live on Crossfire when he eviscerated Carlson and Begala. Jon appeared on O’Reilly’s show a number of times where he had zero control of the editing–yet always managed to get the better of BillO. There is much evil on Fox News, but Bolling is engaged in his own cage match with Hannity for worst of the worse.

“And we provide a lot of fish.”

That is shockingly self-aware for anyone on Faux.

If they were honest mistakes then every time Jon made fun of them FOX would have admitted their error and apologized. Pssst…here is a hint FOX. If you don’t retract your mistakes, or make the same ones across multiple shows, then you can’t really call them a mistake can you.

…so stupid that his Fox ‘friends’ are laughing at him.

I agree: I sure as fuck can’t tell the difference between Eric Bolling and a Carp. Both are bottom feeding garbage swallowing slime. I’d rather hang out with carp, though.

“If he’s shooting fish in a barrel, we don’t always have to provide the fish,” he said, laughing. “And we provide a lot of fish.” Greg Gutfield is self-aware. Who knew?

This is rich: Roughly half of J Stew’s segments are comprised of showing Fox News’s selective editing of people’s live comments (most often Pres. Obama) and then showing the unedited version that proves the Fox version was hopelessly out of context.
At least one of Jon Stewarts kid’s college education will be paid for by Fox doing the very thing this whinny beyotch is complaining about!

Let’s remember Fox “News” is an entertainment network masquerading as news. So journalistic ethics do not apply to them. Hence they can criticize Obama for doing the same thing they praised Bush for and not worry about inaccurate reporting that may violate journalistic standards of ethics. Also, they can financially back Tea Party events, and then report on them as if the Tea Party funders are neutral.

Problem is they pass themselves off as “news”, and not all their viewers are smart enough to figure out that an entertainment network that calls itself a “news” station that is “fair and balanced” may be neither.

…and you don’t need a “team of people” to find errors in your sound bites, Eric. All you need is an eighth grader who has access to a history book.

Faux morons are so stupid that they work in television and they don’t how television production works.

You mean the part of the show where he interviews someone without a script, that part too? Where’s there is talkafying and speechery?
