Discussion: Fox Host: Christians Have Killed 'Zero' People In The Name Of Religion

Possibly Eric is getting to zero mathematically by using Buddhist beliefs in reincarnation to offset any deaths caused by the other non-Islamic religions. But what would you expect from someone living in the Preta world.

Eric Bolling denied Saturday that Christians, or people of any faith other than Islam for that matter, have killed anyone in the name of their religion.

yeah … sure … Salem Witch trials were just for fun …

Eric Bolling is spot on! Well, except maybe for St. Paul. And St. Peter. And St. Agnes. And Joan of Arc. And St. Fermin. And Mary, Queen of Scots. And all those non-believers assassinated on the order of Popes for a few centuries. But that’s it. Well, no, okay, and also all those folks in the German Peasants’ War and the Schmalkadic War and the 80 Years War and the 30 Years War and the wars of the English and Scottish Reformation and Oliver Cromwell’s War and, oh, about a zillion Jews and Muslims and animists and other ā€œheathenā€ in various and sundry wars of colonialism and conquest between, say, the 8th Century CE and, like, yesterday. But besides that, Eric Bolling is on really solid historical ground.

ā€œreestablish Protestant Christian values in America by any means possibleā€

The KKK and I believe they have killed a few folks. Look it up.

Good point. Just as long as we all agree at the end of the day that Christians are the best.

Hi. Northern Ireland here. I know we are part of a small island full of leprechauns, Lucky Charms and guys in cable knit sweaters riding bikes while selling soap, but we done killed plenty of people here not that long ago, all in the name of …

I am a Indigenous American… this is why you must never let them forget… because if you do, they will throw it back in your face. I speak from a life of experience.

Everyone murdered at Srebrenica and by the Klan will be happy to hear that. And, of course, it goes without saying that the Russian pograms and the Germans’ attempting to murder every Jew in Europe had nothing to do with Christianity even though it was perpetrated by Christians drawing on a thousand years of church-sponsored antisemitism.

While the more famous historical examples everyone mentions to show what an idiot Bolling is are great and all, I do have to wonder if he or anyone else for that matter have ever even heard Africa exists? You don’t have to go back to the crusades people!

Since Christians believe that all the people they have killed in the name of religion are ā€œZeroesā€, then Bolling is more accurate than he thinks.

Forget about terrorists – Calvin had heretics burned at the stake.

He has to say ā€œzero,ā€ because saying anything else means that he’s a Communist gay atheist Muslim military-hating gun control advocate who has a sinful, nuanced, educated mind.

I wish, but no. Fox’s viewers are an ignorant lot who don’t care, don’t know or even when they know the facts, will equivocate.

I would ā€œlikeā€ this post a million times if I could. If there were some way to wipe religion off the face of the earth (there isn’t) sociopaths and psychopaths will find some other means with which to recruit the soulless to brutalize and murder untold numbers of innocent people. Much like Republican pols, most of which couldn’t care less about religion, faith is simply a means to an end, an excuse to convince people to vote against their own interests and/or dominate and brutalize others. Think of the Mexican cartels, the Yakuza, the Italian and Russian mobs. These aren’t religious organizations in any way and yet their members have slaughtered scores of innocent people and will do anything to further the agenda of the organization. How is that any different from killings in the name of religion?

And not just in Salem – that’s just the most notorious of the ones in this country.

Also, let’s not forget the Mountain Meadows Massacre in 1857. Or are we not considering Mormons to be Christians today?

And in more recent days, numerous abortion clinic bombings and murders of doctors who perform abortions. Those people claim to be acting on God’s orders, as I recall.
