You are on a roll today - I am just going to stand back…don’t forget the desire to overturn every social program FDR ever put into place/
Is there nobody who will stand up and initiate disbarment proceedings against Giuliani and Dershowitz?
By deliberately creating Marianas Trench like Deficits while at the same time preaching Fiscal Austerity and campaigning on a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution? You want I should have a stroke before 10 AM today?
Not that Lou Dobbs gives a shit, but the newest season of the Serial podcast focuses on the justice system in Ohio. If that moron (and the morons who watch Fox) thinks that judges are usually “dispassionate arbiters of justice”, he’s far stupider than he lets on. Which is nearly impossible, but here we are.
A number of us New Yorkers remember Bob Grant aka Gigante. He was the predecessor of a lot of today’s talk radio and Fox. You also had Joe Pyne who predated him.
A piece of work.
Lets say you did not know that Faux was a propaganda arm of the current administration and that the disinformation that they spew daily has been discredited over and over and over…the fact that a fossilized piece of whale shit like Dobbs could appear on their air and pretend to be a legitimate journalist is an embarassment to anyone who ever aspired to work in the profession.Even the fraudulent pimp Varney must be palm smacking his forehead over the vile farce played out daily on this satire on news and information.
Assholery.

Old Lou Dobbs,
He ain’t what he used to be,
ain’t what he used to be,
ain’t what he used to be.
Old Lou Dobbs,
He ain’t what he used to be,
Many long years ago.
At the risk of an accusation of incitement, I have to say, regarding Faux Knews, “Will no one rid us of this turbulent pestilence?”
The standard GOP line:
"Dobbs suggested the judge overseeing Flynn’s sentencing is a member of special counsel Robert Mueller’s “witch hunt.”
The reality is the GOP ALWAYS ‘suggests’ things without evidence. This is the most evidence-challenged political party on earth. But it keeps alt-right pundits like Dobbs in front of an audience and collecting a smelly paycheck.
I had teachers that used to test me with questions they knew the answers to. I never fell for it though.#MAGA
Dobbs had better hope he never has to face Sullivan in a courtroom. He’ll be doing time for jay-walking.
The judge did seem to think that the FBI had found something pretty wicked.
For the record, he never called Flynn a witch though.
Although, by appearance, he could be mistaken for one?
Yes
Dead John Dillinger would like to say ‘Lou, you don’t know diddly about a real FBI ambush’.
Barbara McQuade obliterates this logic deftly.
‘Some critics like Alan Dershowitz have also argued that Flynn’s lies were not material, an essential element of a false-statements crime. They say that if the FBI already knew the content of Flynn’s conversations with Kislyak, there was no reason to interview him besides trapping him in a lie. This argument fails to consider that by lying, Flynn prevented the FBI from advancing its investigation. If Flynn had been truthful, agents would have asked why he had discussed these matters with the Russian ambassador, and who else from the Trump transition team was involved. Instead, they were stonewalled. It was not until Flynn was charged with lying that he decided to come clean, resulting in a delay in the investigation by almost a year, a delay that Flynn could have prevented by telling the truth from the outset’
Game set match and STFU alt-a-holes.
Also too: Using Hamilton’s concerns in Federalist #22 as the Republicans playbook for minority rule:
Another issue that Hamilton feels necessitates the new constitution is “the right of equal suffrage among the states.” Under the Articles of Confederation, all the states, whether large or small, were represented equally in the Congress. This system, however, means that in reality the people are unequally represented. New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware, Georgia, South Carolina, and Maryland constitute a majority of the states, but they do not contain one-third of the population. Thus, this situation violates the republican principles of majority rule. The citizens of the small states must realize that, sooner or later, the citizens of the large states will protest such an unfair arrangement. When that happens, the stability and welfare of the country will be threatened. A situation in which a responsible majority is frequently coerced by a small minority could result in anarchy. The other problem that arises from this legislative situation (a national government controlled by a legislative minority) is that the government is vulnerable to foreign influence and corruption. It is difficult for a foreign government to influence a governing majority but relatively easy for them to corrupt or influence a powerful few.
Italics mine.
Don’t forget Pat Buchanan.
The thing these clowns won’t mention is that this judge has seen what’s behind the black bars of redaction. He has the full picture of what Flynn actually did. Lying to the FBI is simply what he’s pleading to, it’s not what all he’s accused of doing. It’s not the whole of his crimes. It will all come out at some point and they’re going to look awfully stupid whining about the piddly little charge he pleaded to when he got a pass on so much worse.
