Discussion: Fox Host: Americans Are 'Whiny' About Statutory Rape; Boys Aren't Victims (VIDEO)

Discussion for article #223573

I can’t believe how utterly sexist and stupid this man is. The only benefit to his being allowed to utter this crap in the media is that it shows how clueless some folks are. Congrats Tucker! You are now the Mouthpiece of Douches.

That’s right, Republicans. Keep talking about rape. That’s how you win elections!

Why is it crap, sounds spot-on to me. Rebut his points if you disagree with them, calling someone sexist and stupid doesn’t cut it.

Speaking of whinny…STFU Tucker

Similarly, I’m remembering the local boy near me who was arrested for statutory for sleeping with a girl two years his senior.

So what is your excuse Tucker?

Sounds like Tucker has some unresolved issues from childhood. . . . .

Because the law doesn’t distinguish between sexes and one might think he would know this. Ergo, he is sexist and stupid.

No, it doesn’t sound spot on. Personally, I was “deflowered” by a 25 year-old woman when I was 15, and rather enjoyed the experience. But it doesn’t take much to imagine a different emotional outcome, especially if the older person is in a position of power, e.g., a teacher. Just because I or someone else is a precocious perv-monkey doesn’t mean my shyer or more sensitive or vulnerable contemporary shouldn’t have legal protection.

… or that he’s hoping for a change in the laws that will let him pursue his fantasies.

Bingo. The law doesn’t differentiate between the sexes.

You can take the bow tie off the dweeb, but you can’t take the … something off the something… oh, never mind.

All standards are double standards? Um, nope.

Still stupid, still wrong, and still a whining liar.

Carlson added, “After all, I’ve been telling people for years that my only sexual encounter was with my tenth grade English teacher and it won’t count if it’s considered rape.”

At least Tucker no longer wears that stupid bow tie.

Carlson is pandering - pandering to the crowd that would chuckle and wink and say boys will be boys … har , har,

But really - Carlson is full of CRAP!

(1.) in the case that he was discussing - it was a TEACHER and a 16 year old STUDENT - so regardless of sex, you had the fact that there are clearly spelled out laws against sex between TEACHERS & STUDENTS and the Adult (Teacher) is & should be, the accountable party .

(2.) while some may believe that a debate might be possible about the case where the teacher is aggressively pursued by a hormonally active 16 year old male - it is still illegal , and Carlson goes Mega- stupid when he then extrapolates to an across the board generation of - “underaged boys are not rape victims” - and seem to cling to the idea that even if the youth was pressured & coerced … it really was a “treat”
(3.) The depth of Carlson’s imbecility are revealed to be almost limitless & clearly he just brain-farted this out with out thought - since he simply generalized that “underaged boys are not rape victims” - REALLY? not even half a thought as to the age of the boy? … so if some twisted woman decided to pressure & coerce a 12 year - old into intercourse - is would not be rape … because??? because it was a “treat”?

I suggest you start by looking up the legal definition of statutory rape. Then get back to us if you still have any questions.

Been Saving it for a long long time. I agree with Tucker Carson.

When I was in middle/high school having sex with a (female) teacher was a dream come, it was something that you would brag about , not whine to the cops that you were “raped”.

I don’t remember ever happening (lots of claims from known BSters). Now getting screwed by a male teacher that was completely another story. And yeah that did happen at one of my schools (after I had graduated though).
