This is the year of the populist. Taking Wall Street money is going to be radio-active. Thank you Elizabeth Warren. When Wall Street offers Democratic candidates money, their precious money, and they get turned down, their head’s will explode. They will then lavish a GOP candidate, but people will be turned off. Wall Street is beginning to run up against the limits of their success. It was one thing when ever spoonful of money they took from the middle class cut into discressionary income and so was relatively numb, but that’s all gone, every spoonful of money they take now cuts into everyone else’s pain. We are entering into an inflection point folks.

I didn’t realize this was news. Anyone who’s been paying attention knows that Wall Street loves Hillary Clinton and hates Elizabeth Warren. Warren is Wall Street’s worst nightmare, she opposes our plutocracy and knows how to fix it.

Because Wall Streeters have such a great image. When they call her the Devil, it is a compliment. It’s the scum looking up.

Most compelling argument in favor of a Warren run I’ve heard to date. On one hand, a run by her causes them to pile vast sums of money into Hillary’s war chest out of sheer fear and thus free of the usual strings, putting her in a better position for the general if she wins. On the other, maybe Warren wins and Democrats take Congress on her coattails and pass laws that result in some of them having to downsize their yachts and start chartering flights rather than owning the plane. That’s a win-win.
