It’s too late for McCain to get justice on Earth. One could make the presumption that the brain cancer is an awful way to go and it makes up for some of the ‘injustices’ in his career.
But the statement from the Fox a-hole is still outrageous and unprofessional and unbecoming of anyone in the military. And the dipshit that sat there, non-responsive during that statement with no pushback, is just as reprehensible.
What a horrible country this is.

I’m not one of those people that think that being, or having been a soldier, automatically makes you a good person, or above the law. (Shout out to Track Palin!).
But this person’s sneering about a fellow service man is just not done.

I am loving the way today’s conservativism is spiraling into a putrid seething cesspool of santorum. Conservatism’s embrace of torture, the sacrifice of innocent to children at the altar of their Second Amendment god, their love of pedophiles like Roy Moore and sexual predators and man sluts like Trump, Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes and liars and racists like John Kelly, Jeff Sessions and Mike Flynn shows how intellectually empty, morally bankrupt and ethically decrepit it is.
I know many will claim that this is a distortion, a virulent or mutated strain of conservatism. This ideology is its mainstream. This is the real conservatism folks.

I have heard McCain called a lot of things, hell I have called him some of those things, but “Songbird John” is not one of them. Yes he signed confessions after torture, but nobody has ever charged that he provided the North Vietnamese with any actionable intelligence.

One of the most horrible and shocking comments ever on TV. Set aside his illegal campaigning on TV for “Never vote for a Dem (always vote for an old dying whites only party), his real horror is that of treason. He first says Congress has outlawed torture, and then assures us that someone? that if “we” need to use torture we will” or something. like that.
Who is this “we” that over rules Congress’s wishes and has control over the miitary and intelligence?"
Where do the members meet?
What documents do they have showing their usurpation of the roles of Congress?
Does his military stripes, worn on TV to make up for his poorly argued positions, make him an officer in the “we”.?

Figure the psychology. He put men into combat, flew those missions himself. How could he give support to the enemy whoever they may regardless of methods. He is telling our enemies, yeah, we do it so go ahead, you can torture and maim our folks to your hearts content. We can no longer be outraged when one of our soldiers is abused or worse when captured. We will have to sit tight, keep our mouths shut and hum nice songs while we know this is happening.
