Does anyone know the significance of the “and a day” part of the sentence?
EDIT: I found out that by having the sentence more than one year she is eligible for early parole as parole is normally only a possibility for sentences greater than one year.
Meanwhile crooked POS hubby is sitting at home instead of prison while he appeals the obvious & that hearing isn’t until May. So how many poor & people of color sit in prison working on their appeals? Is this real justice? Why 2 systems? One for rich whites & another for the rest?
