Both Boehner and Cantor suspect that Ryan will “do what’s best for him, for [his wife] Janna” when it comes to the House Speaker’s post-midterms plans.

I agree. Sounds like Boehner and Cantor have heard the rumors and want to put a stop to it pronto. They are trying to bully Ryan into staying and since Boehner bullied Ryan to take the job to begin with, they know it could work. Ryan is a weak link and always has been. This time I think Ryan has something big to be afraid of. Bullying might not be enough.
