[/quote]I seem to recall trump bragging he was gonna bring in āthe best peopleā to work in the Executive Branch. What he meant by ābest peopleā (Pruit was ābest peopleā) was clearly misunderstood by nearly everyone, except those here at TPM. What trump meant, of course, by ābest peopleā were the best grifters, in-your-face criminals, and con artists and not people working for the betterment of all Americans. Clearly trump chose those people he was most familiar with and that would be most like him from his years as a real estate blow hard, casino buffoon. err tycoon, and sex object rich guy at Studio 54. He cast himself as āIām really really richā as a chief reason to vote for him. While many did for exactly that reason, it made me queasy to the point of needing to lay down.
