Discussion: Foreign Journalists Leave To Watch Dismantling of NK Nuclear Test Site

Wow, 20 bucks for kimchi is a little steep, but better than the 5 buck platter of mystery flavors.

It is very strange that stories about this offer to close, and then the actual closing, do not mention the scientific evidence that the facility is fatally damaged from the previous tests. If, as the evidence suggests, that the mountain is in collapse from the tests, then this is a sham gesture by Kim and costs him nothing but a few pounds of explosives.

In North Korea money has no value when there is no food to sell. Not that the people in this hermit kingdom have any money either. The journalists on this little charade are getting a cut of rations reserved for Kim’s court.

I hope Kim isn’t obsessed with that “30 Rock” plot line.
