Discussion: Flynn Associate Cites Phone Records To Push Back On Whistleblower's Claims

LOL. I love how “Device” and the phone number(s) are redacted. For all we know these are phone records for this phone:

“Cochran responded to the allegations in a letter last week that included what appears to be a screenshot of phone records from that day.”

So my device has this “Call History” thingy.

That allows me to do this totally whacky thing it calls “Delete”.

To individual incoming or outgoing calls in the log.

Crazy, huh?

I understand it’s illegal for businessmen to have more than one phone.

It’s also possible that the source is mistaken or lying, but this doesn’t really rise to the level of evidence either way.

A firm working with the Russians and Flynn on a plan to make billions of dollars that would spread spent nuclear fuel and hotter materials throughout the Middle East.

Yes, they’re believable. Nice guys, too.

doesn’t have enough money to buy a burner phone or a skilled tech who knows how to push the delete button as @irasdad and @paulw noted above.

This is as exculpatory as that photo of the cover of Michael Cohen’s passport.

From unfortunate experience, looking at a spouses’ phone is one thing. Looking at the detailed phone records is something else entirely.

If Michael Flynn and Alex Copson both had iPhones the messages would have been sent using iMessage which is not billed as text messages because they are sent as data. This would also be true for many other messaging apps such as Facebook messenger.

It’s also possible that Alex Copson was using a personal device rather than his work phone.

And it’s possible the whistleblower is lying or mistaken. Figuring all this out is the point of having an investigation. Obviously this screenshoted bill is insufficient.

Ok lol. Let’s see the records from Facebook Messenger, Skype, Signal, Hangouts, WhatsApp, Viber, or God knows what else someone could consider a “text” that wouldn’t appear on a carrier phone bill.

When push comes to shove, one person is going to be able to document who is telling the truth…

Robert Mueller.

Can’t wait for him to compare Trump tax returns (betcha he already has them) with Deutsche Bank financial transaction
records…

All of this. Congress is such a minor player in all this, the rubber meets the road in a court of law. Stop conducting so many “investigations” and try passing some actual legislation.

If only an experienced investigator like Mueller could subpoena Flynn’s phone records from his service provider. I know that sounds like something out of science fiction, but if only …

Still, it wouldn’t matter. As one of the most brilliant minds to ever lead the DIA there’s no way a clever man like Flynn could ever be caught.

Because Flynn and flunkies have never heard of burner phones, if they had their evidence wouldn’t be worth much.

But they can’t delete the logs stored by the phone companies that would show a call happened during the time they deleted, which shows how incompetent these pople are. Just as likely they could be using burner phones for illicit talk.

Also, Copson could have been bullshitting the “whistleblower.”

Because the claims describe activity by Flynn, Mueller is positioned to quickly determine if there was a text message as described, and, if so, to investigate its contents and any other leads regarding the nuclear project with Russia. I’m going to ignore the other efforts to investigate the matter.

Also, whether they can delete it and monkey with records on one side, someone sent or received each message. And with that person not responding on his own behalf, he’s not technically ‘lying’.
