Sounds like a list of attributes needed for a position in tRump’s cabinet.
In response to the report, the White House touted Trump’s record, telling Axios that “no disgruntled, establishment, D.C. swamp creature’s cowardly leaks can change” his legacy.
His legacy of filling his administration and courts with corrupt, hyper-partisan, complicit, toadying, cowardly swamp creatures, along with a few who showed signs of growing a backbone and had to be drained out.
Amazing how this White House inadvertently sometimes says the most accurate and clarifying things.
Why would RNC staffers even want to do a decent job on this?
Russia loyalty, white supremacy all around. Deep corporate oil roots! It’s all there reinforcing what we all knew-traitors and racists.
Who other than a 5 yo speaks this way. It seems to be getting worse as the months go by.
We all know about Trump’s crew.
What about the 40+% of us who are disengaged from the Civic Process?
What about the Purity Patrol?
What about the people who treat boycotting elections like boycotting the local flower shop?
What about the people who use their intellect to create new ways to discourage those who are trying?
What about the rage to vote Third Party?
These–and more–should be ongoing TPM themes until November 2020
Basically HR was told to exclude candidates that were sane, sober, ethical and free of any previous episodes of poor performance, ineptitude or negilgence in their job history.
Granted, however, I’d also add a very serious long-festering issue, the number of races where there is absolutely zero competition. I live in East TN and have done so since 2010 when I retired. I am shocked at the number of races where the Democrats don’t even try. Yes, it is very much uphill as anyone with an ® seems to automatically get a 10/15 point boost. But at least try. It can be done.
I did it a number of years ago when I ran and won a school board seat. I was told that I needed to align myself with a group otherwise even this supposedly nonpartisan race would fall flat. I refused and came in with the 2nd highest vote count. Since the top 4 won, I was in. I refused to bow and scrape to the powers that be, such as sports boosters and teachers but investigated issues and voted based on that. The next time I ran, I wiped the slate coming in with over double the votes of the 2nd place finisher. For someone fighting cancer, trying to raise 3 kids as a single parent, while working full time, I managed to beat the odds. If I can do it, anyone can, especially as I speak as I see it and am far from being diplomatic.
You can’t blackmail people into doing your bidding if you don’t have kompromat on them…
There was a recent film which laid out the dynamics of kompromat. “Liking” the people putting the screws to one was far down on the list.
In this particular film, the selectee eventually committed suicide.
At his desk.
Trump would approve of that for members of his administration who cross him.
Trying requires money and the assistance of many people. At some point a goal has to be analyzed in terms of the legitimate prospects for success should that money be spent and those assisting committ to the time.
I would not go to investors and try to cajole them into giving me money to climb Mt. Everest, nor cobble together 20 sherpas to help me. I’m in excellent shape for my age, but I’m not reaching the summit regardless the money and help provided me.
The wise thing to do is raise the money and find the help for someone with a reachable goal in their life. Running in a House district that has had a 70/30 split in favor of the GOP for ten consecutive terms is understandably a race to be deferred in favor of directing efforts elsewhere. Time and labor are finite resources.
trump legacy?
I can tellya what trump’s legacy is gonna be.
Jailing kids
Betraying the US to Russia
10,000+ lies
Incompetence on an epic scale.
What scares me the most going into this election is that I see little or no recognition of the alteration of the U.S. political dynamic from an “American” one into a Trumpian/foreign one.
International comparisons are a must.
“Voting” has an entirely new meaning…one quite common abroad, in certain autocratic countries.
Welp, here I am begining another day…
ANGRY
thanks trump.
Why are you angry?
It’s not news that Trump’s a white-russkie supremacist and thus surrounded himself with like-minded people.
I think I get it. Sometimes having a flashback is a just as disturbing as the original revelation.
Someday voters will perhaps understand that when criticisms are always responded to ad hominem ( this time attacking an unnamed “swamp
Creature”) , it simply proves they have nothing of substance to say. To attack personally is the last refuge of a liar and a scoundrel. The press should make that point every time. Responding ad hominem is always a non response, a diversion, and in the end concedes the point.
