Discussion: Ferguson No-Fly Zone Intended To Keep Media Away From Protests

Discussion for article #229621

Gee, this sure does sound like the St. Louis County PD has MAJOR issues with being watched while “performing” their duty. Do ya think they might be hiding something - or LOTS of somethings? Almost wish I had a quiet drone with a Video Camera mounted to video what they were HIDING!

Just as soon as the “no-fly” zone was announced during the initial protests, it was pretty damn obvious that this was the reason.

Yep, I do sorta think they had a bunch of things they didn’t want to see the light of a TV camera.

I guess they could only fly in “free speech zones”… The same as anyone protesting Bush could only protest in “free speech zones”…

This entire incident in Ferguson Missouri from the original shooting of Michael Brown until today is a perfect example of the type of law enforcement and restriction of citizen’s rights that the oligarchs are wanting for the entire country. Yes, at first reading it looks like the ravings of a conspiracy theorist on steroids, but there are discussions in corporate executive offices and Republican strategy rooms that are certainly dealing with this very subject. The Progressive Nation is under attack by fascists and anti-intellectuals. Ignore this at your own risk.

“Free speech zones” had cameras trained on them. What were they doing in the “no fly zone” that they didn’t want anyone to see?

I wonder if those “shots fired in the air” and the rumors of shots aimed at a police helicopter could be coincidental.

They also imposed a “no fly zone” for the BP oil spill after they got tired of the aerial pictures of the spill The FAA hands out no-fly zone’s for the powerful the way Imost people hand out Halloween candy…

No it does not sound like the ravings of a conspiracy theorist on steroids. It sounds like what most of us are seeing is going on around us more and more with each year. We are quickly becoming 1930’s Nazi Germany, and the RWNJ’s are busy fearing a non existent communism taking over this country. My husband and I never thought we would seriously discuss leaving this country at age 58, but we have been.

Interesting isn’t it. Freedom from everything except the freedoms they want you not to have.
But your statement was what made me reply.

Exactly what the wife and I have been discussing. we are moving from this state for self preservation of our own sanity after living our whole lives in the northeast. So it’s forward to 2015 in the NE or leave this country because there no way we can live the 1950’s and 60’s all over again in this state. Once was enough. lol
