Discussion: FEMA Administrator Says San Juan Mayor's Remarks Are 'Political Noise'

He’s a MUNT!

If Mueller gets Trump, and he resigns or is impeached…what, then, do all of his apologists say? Do they try to put the toothpaste back in the tube? Or do they just try, “We had to say those nice things about the crazy man so he wouldn’t blow up the world.” I don’t see an easy way out. Maybe that’s why they’re all fighting so hard to make the investigations go away and impugn witnesses, evidence and the special council’s entire team.

This is incredible. The head of a government disaster agency has ‘filtered out’ the mayor of the largest city in the affected area. Has this ever happened before? The coarsening effect of the Trump Administration seems to know no bounds.

Piece of shit. Rachel Maddows crew were able to drive up the roads that FEMA says they can’t travel on, and in fact, FEMA was i at this Village to pass out forms to fill out and came empty handed.

Real US citizens don’t matter. Only Donald J Trump’s ego matters.

I’m sure Oxfam, which rarely ever does so, criticizing FEMA and the Trump administration’s response was also political noise.

Well, yes, that too.

A job like Brock’s is primarily political. He doesn’t have time for “political noise”, except if the noise is coming from an unstable powerful boss. This guy is spinning, and isn’t happy, but like someone said earlier, he also understands that it’s his job to take heat and keep it away from his unstable boss, and anything negative will be hung around his own neck. So he’s fine with ignoring people who can’t touch him.

Maybe, but I think it’s because they are all compromised; some, more than others.

Let’s hope so.

It concerns me that any Federal Agency would become political.

Oh, go on somewhere and die, you massive, massive piece of shit. To be attacking this woman who is out in waist deep water with a bullhorn searching for survivors is just evil.

I’m sorry but his little asshat needs to step down. YOUR job is to LISTEN and RESPOND to ALL citizens of the United States…not just those you deem ‘acceptable’. You freakin’ moron.

you are admin, go administer some relief and shut the fuck up with the politics, leave the blowharding to the MORON, it’s in his wheelhouse

Brock = moron, a f…king moron! Right up there with Brownie. Doing a horrible job in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
Just one more worthless Trump appointee.

I hate these people. I hate these people. I hate these people.

There.

My work is done here.

Carry on, folks. You have far better comments and insights to add than I could ever contribute. Besides, I’ve lost all objectivity or the ability to respond like any kind of grownup to pointless remarks by Rump’s toadies and sycophants. Facts don’t matter to these tone-deaf idiots. They all lack basic compassion which is why they were chosen in the first damn place. I’m so tired of their constant attempt to divide the country. Its just plain sickening.

Well if they divert it away from San Juan then they might as well pack up, go home, and call it Mission Accomplished.
Does anyone know/remember if Long has been sighted in Puerto Rico outside of San Juan?

This Brock guy has quite an impressive resume in disaster relief over many years. Far more credible than the San Juan mayor.

This is the first natural disaster in my 66 years in which the president made it about politics.
