I read yesterday that they both happened about the same time. And about a mile apart.
Drumpf has avoided repercussions legally speaking because of his money. Shifting trials until after the election for example. Hopefully this judge won’t play patty cake.

Hold on…a defendant can’t recuse anyone. The judge recuses himself if necessary. In this case I suppose to Drumpf, “recuse” means breaking his knee caps.

But seriously folks this is going to be fun. That “university” was a straight-up scam perpetrated against the little people of the world. My heart sank when I heard the trial was delayed until after the election, but it seems there’s such a thing as karma, or fortune’s wheel, or a God with sense of humor. The spotlight will snap on and show us a Trump who’s a two-bit lying chiseler standing there stammering his ever-wilder and more implausible denials with his pants down and his small hands visible to everyone.

A few years ago my daughter applied for a job with Trump University. (or to go Trumpian “many many years ago” - maybe four or five?). She prepared for the interview by trying to figure out what on earth they did. She failed at this and decided to just wing it. She reported that her interviewer was very nice (did not seem creepy) but she still really did not understand what they did.
My daughter as a Trump University dean is one of my many “alternate lives” that are, of course, happening in alternate universes.

Voting for this man will offer many reasons. I understand. I really do. If Bernie Bros can offer to sit out the election because Bernie did not get the nomination each of them will offer logical (to them) reasons as well…
But here’s the thing. These people are not doing this in a vacuum. They are doing this under the wing of gasbags like Tweety. Non-reporters like Todd and Mitchell. Non-stop Talk Radio. FOX “news”, which has altered the perspectives of two generational cohorts.
They are doing this under the wing of journalism graduates with scarcities of venues for employment…as journalism gives way to “communication”
They are doing this under the wings of strong newspapers disappearing, as the internet alters their readership and as the nation turns to bloggers (with little editorial control). They are doing this under the wing of the 0.001% tightening its grip on reality (which is why Drumpf cried out the racist insult of the judge in this case…after all, “how can one of us be charged for ANYTHING?”).
They are doing this in a era of the most threatened generation in this nations’s history: The Millennials. I sincerely hope that Sanders has not poisoned too many of them.
