You beat me to it by about 2 minutes! I would like to add that they use abortion as an excuse - they would also like to eliminate birth control. That way women would stop competing with them for jobs and “authority.” Pro-life Republican is an oxymoron,

“the issue of human life, from conception to birth and beyond”. Still waiting on evidence of that last part from the GOers.
When “governor” Reagan signed the bill that legalized abortion on demand in California he called it a great day for California woman.
Only later did the repigs figure out that there was money in blocking women from exercising their Constitutional rights.
