Judge Granade…that sounds FRENCH!!! And judges of French descent have a conflict of interest in ruling on matters involving SEX!

I expect the Texas Rangers to surround the Military bases and the Base commander to simply shut the gates and dare them to enter. Give it about 5 days with the gates shut before the local businesses start SCREAMING at Abbott to stop the stupidity. Entirely too much money goes through those gates and is spent outside the bases for them to be shut down for any length of time. Don’t forget most have their own power (or generators), most have their own water and food? it might be MRE’s, but the soldiers, airman, sailors and Marines will not go hungry.

Yes. All the federal court needs to do is include in its order the words “Bible says,” “sodomy’” “anal”, “Leviticus 69,” “cease and desist from processing any and all interpretive thought”, and the micromanaging of Alabama courts serving the public interest will be complete because those Alabama judges will eat that shit up (anytime they feel the urge to say what an Alabama law or state constitutional provision means).

I don’t think it would even take 5 days. one or two at best. if necessary, an A-10 could fly in and wipe them all out in about 10 minutes.
The effect of this order is that the next time anyone in a government position in Alabama tries something even slightly stupid (note the AP story said “most” counties are issuing licenses) it is only one step for a US Attorney to ask for a criminal contempt citation.
I hope he was reading it and holding it very close to his face at the time.
