Raising too many red flags? Barr?
Darling, that ship done sailed.

I am not too familiar with events like these, but I thought grand jury proceedings were supposed to be confidential. The Times does not say how they obtained the subpoenas. I suppose the individuals who received them could have disclosed them, but given the number of subpoenas here, that seems a little far-fetched. That would be something like multiple associates of Gillum coordinating to make this disclosure. Why would they do that?
This seems like a smear campaign by people with authorized access to the investigation, who are violating confidentiality rules.
Gillum … was one of the rising stars during that campaign season.
An African-American who is a “rising star,” or, as the GOP puts it, “uppity.”
I don’t think you are cynical enough. This is exactly how authoritarians take over. The GOP are doing everything in their power to stay in power.
Leader Abrams is just amazing. I’ve heard her before, but she did a 1-hour interview and Q&A on a local radio program, City Arts and Lectures, which is very unfortunately not archived for public access. She “gets it” in so many ways, in so many layers. She’s a systems thinker, and has such a low level of ego-involvement – sure, she’s a politician, and that takes some level of ego, but she’s just so self-aware and knows how to manage the ego for good effect. To wit: part of her talk was about her recent campaign – only part of it was to win; the rest of it was, win or lose, to put systems in place that would benefit Democratic candidates, and POC candidates, from here on out in Georgia. She was, and is, about building political power for everyone. Just amazing.
Of course they’re trying to crucify her.
And the GOP wonders why minorities are reluctant to vote GOP. Oh well, give it another generation or so.
Conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and perjury. Of what was John Mitchell convicted? Correct; you control the board.
