Discussion: Family Spokesman: Physicist Stephen Hawking Has Died At The Age Of 76

This astonishing man, who lived 54 years with a disease that kills most people in a couple of years, died on Albert Einstein’s birthday, 3/14, which is also Pi Day because 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant numbers of Pi.

Albert Einstein’s birth. Pi, the never ending number. And this is the day Stephen left us. Who could ever say there is no magic in the universe?

Stephen Hawking led an incredibly full life, productive and contributing in so many ways, so bright he will be missed by those close and far away.

I don’t see mentioned here that he and his daughter wrote children’s books “George’s Secret Key to the Universe” and sequels. My daughter recently read them and seemed to like.

Steven Hawking was the anti-Trump.

I’m certain that Trump’s initial reaction was, “Who?”

One of my heroes. May his spirit be exploring the Universe in ways he could not in life.

His energy is not gone, just transformed. His legacy will live on for as long as people look at the stars and wonder. RIP brother.

Hawking didn’t really die, his consciousness just radiated away until his singularly brilliant mind no longer existed.

RIP.

Safe travels, Sir. RIP

Indeed. It took a universe within to explain the universe without.

I’m guessing Donald made fun of Hawking’s disease.
