It’s a satire site, fer chris’sake. It’s supposed to sound stupid.

Lamb has declared victory, while Saccone has not conceded.

Saccone will concede as soon as Roy Moore does.

The problem is this new / old disease that has affected the mindset of a republican over the last 10 years or so.
It’s symptoms include the idea that if you run in an election, there is no way you can lose.
If the numbers show that you have the least amount of votes, there has to be a specific reason as to why that has happened.
The most logical outcome is voter fraud. It’s a reliable excuse in the gop world.
THere is just no way a republican can lose an election, ask anyone of them that lost.

a) Russian troll farm creation.
b) rw-fringe created powered by bots
c) satire making fun of both a and b and all the folks who fall for them.

Perhaps?

Alleged “satire” is the loophole that many of these fake news sites use to justify pushing out their fake news.

To a large degree it’s a sort of “Poe’s Law” problem where today’s Trumpublican Party has become so batshit crazy that the kind of wingnuttery they’re all too ready to buy into is not always easily distinguishable from actual satire.

Nonetheless, to those of us outside the Trumpian bubble, it’s pretty obvious that stories like this are attempts to mislead, not satirical stories.

For one thing, real satire is supposed to be clever. Like The Onion, for example. Or the Borowitz Report (at least sometimes).

These fake news stories on these websites with an ass-covering “this is satire” line hidden in an “About” page are just not at all clever or amusing no matter how you read them.

If you take them seriously, then you think the news is about an outrage, and if you see through the fakeness (the alleged “satire”) there’s nothing clever there at all…it’s just straight up false propaganda.

What a BOT it? Troll 2018 just warming up for the midterms is my guess.

The whole meme of truck/bus loads of illegal voters pulling up to voting sites is so patently ridiculous and nonsensical, one wonders that the creators of this crap even bother.

First place…even at heavier periods of voting at a given polling place, a large group of people suddenly showing up at a single polling place in a single vehicle just isn’t going to happen.

Second, polls are usually watched by locals who (and bless them for their civic conscience) sit there and help with the process of checking in, cross checking you against their register of approved voters and then processing you to vote on a machine. These people know local residents…I am always amazed at how many they know. Outside, various candidates also have their own people standing and hoping to encourage a friend or neighbor to cast a vote for their nominee or cause. Another level of local knowledge.

And of course the claims of illegal voting almost always refer to or hint at the fact that the illegals are immigrants…wrong skin color, swarthy complexion, covered in tatoos, wearing hajabs.

and finally of course immigrants who are here without papers are going to stay as far away as possible from polling places for fear of getting caught and rounded up.

They have tried touting these claims in NH and that is about the :LAST place you would want to try and commit local voter fraud. Everybody knows everybody in those small towns. I always remember, having lived in a small NH town, the adage that “You know you live in a small town when the bank calls to tell you your account is overdrawn so get down there and make a quick deposit”

It is always THEM or as so memorably occurred here in PA in the run up to the special Lamb Saccone election, the GOP PACs were running an ad that characterized Lamb thusly…“He’s not one of us.”

As Paul Krugman said in a recent column…all those old buzz words the GOP loves to use are suddenly being ignored by more and move voters. Health and Pensions were the big issues in PA 18 according to exit polls. The GOP attacks on soft on crime, gangs, immigration, weak on military and public safety, anti gun, pro abortion, hates God…none of that worked. You could almost see Frank Luntz weeping.

Healthcare is huge everywhere. I think it’s one of our most winning issues.

claims “trucks full of illegals” cast votes in the election.

Heck back in the late 60s worked for a construction company who told people on one jobsite to pile in pickups so that they could go vote. That way the managers knew that employees would be coming back after the vote, taking only an hour for everyone rather than shutting the site down for half the day. I drove one of the trucks, we hit two precincts and no one batted an eye over it.

It’s not satire, it’s lies, packaged for retweeting and inclusion in comment threads by Putin’s trolls. Is there a FB Page, too?

Either Russian, Chinese, Trumpista, or Fox News propaganda.

Gee, and from the photos, and the license plates it looks like they trucked them all in from Texas, . . . .in the summer!
