May I add a heartfelt “Fuck Zuckerberg?”

Putin really got his money’s worth, which is good because he’s overseen Russia’s transformation into an impoverished, gangrenous limb spreading corruption and cynicism throughout the world.

Well after the election of Donald Trump and seeing the damage he’s doing, I can now believe the US has lost the first great battle in the cyberwar with the Russians.

So Facebook estimates 10 million people saw the ads. That’s a start, but surely they can tell us a lot more.

What states/districts did these people live in? Were they registered voters? Age range? Context of the ads viewed? Number of likes or whatever it is that Facebook allows. And, of course, why were these particular people targeted?

Zuckerberg would do well to remember without a functioning democracy, his business model could well be in trouble. I’m sure he doesn’t care for Big Brother in China and Russia constantly looking over his shoulder.

Yes, but how many of them were dead people voting illegally?

Yeah, me too.

I know I saw a few of the fake news stories. I remember them because I knew they were wrong when they came through my feed. One was that Pope Francis endorsed Trump. Dude, I’m a serious enough Catholic to know that wasn’t true. Another was Denzel Washington endorsed Trump-not true. Another had to do with Comet Pingpong and the fake story about the child sex ring out of the basement. Been there several times nothing like that ever seen. And the building doesn"t even have a basement!

9.99 million of whom believe every fricking thing they see on the intertubes…

1 / It’s cool, as long as Zuckerberg made a marginal $78. Sandberg, too, leaning in on her Swiss Bank Account.

2 / The content doesn’t have to be real, merely the money they made from them.

3 / And these people expect to be admired for their smarts.

“Personally, I think the idea that fake news on Facebook – of which it’s a small amount of content – influenced the election in any way is a pretty crazy idea,” Zuckerberg said at the Techonomy conference Thursday (November 10 2016).

Now he’s begging forgiveness because Jews are celebrating the feast of atonement, Yom Kippur.

Facebook, Twitter and Google compose a Russian attack vector against America. For the money.

Even with FB, the number of folks who saw those ads are likely more than 10 mil.

Currently wondering if any of those ads either had video or sites that were passed along through email n Twitter lists.

If so, than the number of folks who saw these ads is larger than 10 mil.

From the article

As targeted users clicked on the Facebook ads, the system would eventually take them to Web pages outside Facebook, where they would be tracked with more-aggressive forms of tracking software, Albright said.

Its more than 10 mil

Facebook seems increasingly deserving of a nickname that has lately been catching on, FSBook.
