Discussion: Ezra Cohen-Watnick To Join DOJ As National Security Adviser To Sessions

Well they couldn’t name him chief WH mole for Russia investigation.

I’m waiting for the sun to come out from behind the clouds so I can get out and cut through the old raspberry branches from last year in what promised to be a warmer day. The weatherman promised it would happen around noon. So far, even the fucking weatherman can’t get it straight today. Its still completely overcast, windy and looking like I should be reading a good book instead of waiting for bombs to fall on what will probably end up being innocent civilians.

Unfortunately his role will likely be more active than just gathering information.

I think you’ve just discovered a new physical law of the (trump) universe. It’s right up there with the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Actually, it IS the second law, just a political version of it. Simply replace the concept of entropy with corruption, and state it thusly: the corruption of team orange will always increase.

I’d congratulate you on your discovery, but you’ve depressed me

There’s a big difference in these populations. The day laborers are just looking for honest work to take care of themselves and their families.

The real danger here is not “well connected political hangers on.”

It is ideologically driven zealots hell bent on pushing an agenda that is a direct threat to democracy.

McMaster and National Security staff recognized immediately that this guy was a dangerous kook and forced him out.

That Bolton sees him as a worthy addition to his staff is truly frightening.

Even if something happens to Trump, how likely would Pence be to try and defenestrate Bolton? We have GOT to win the elections in Nov. big time and even more so in 2020.

It sounds like Sessions has had a political officer attached to his office.

Given Cohen-Watnick’s history, that seems to follow. Apparently, last night, Faux News was advertising that Drumpf was going to make the most momentous personnel decision of his reign. Opening a political office would fit the description.
I gotta wonder, though, how much reach he has into Rosenstein’s office and, from there, into the Mueller investigation. Sessions is still allegedly recused from the investigation.
Not that such niceties would stop Cohen-Watnick’s prying eyes.

So if I am Republican and I keep seeing members of the Rightist Fringe and FoxNews anchors replacing members of my country club, at what point do I start to reread the history of the Mensheviks, and make the calculation that if I keep supporting the consolidation of power under the Bolsheviks, things might not end up quite as well for me as I had heretofore assumed?

Well, I guess they didn’t want to give him the title of political commissar. Because that would be too obvious.

This is exactly what you get when trump picks “ONLY THE BEST PEOPLE”!!!

Rumor has it, Daffy Duck is under consideration for either Sessions or Rosenstein’s position.

It’s clear and warming in Chicago. Grand Rapids should be next.

The swamp is really good for Donny’s skin. He can’t go without it for even a day, otherwise he starts losing his healthy orange glow.

Nunes’ poodle? Great. Nothing could go wrong with this. Obviously has good judgment. Glad to know the nation’s security is in his hands.

The Russian mafia is puts another of its agents into place. When the Russians move, this administration will give up America.

methinks Nunes is the lackey in that relationship.

I want to know if Session was instructed to hire Cohen-Watnik, or if he hired him all on his own.

I see this action as a direct attack on the DOJ and I have just called all my MOC and am following up with corresponding written comments.
