“garbles”??
“In another attempt to dismiss charges against former Rep. Aaron Schock (R-IL), the ex-congressman on Tuesday accused federal prosecutors of inappropriately asking witnesses about his romantic relationships and sexuality.”
Gee, that sounds like a line of investigation that Republicans applaud when it’s directed at a Democrat.
The FBI investigating someone’s sex life is gross.
Schock was the Jackass who went on national radio for the Republicans and urged young people to not buy O-CARE policies in hopes of sabotaging the program.
I don’t know much about the merits of Schock’s case but the grand jury system is woefully slanted to the whims of prosecutors.
That’s why you almost never get indictments of police officers after they’ve shot someone. The prosecutors don’t want an indictment and they can tailor what the grand jury hears to suit their goals as there is no rebuttal or cross examination by a defense at grand juries.
Who knew that being fabulous would come at such a steep price?
Well we ALL remember all of the Republican outrage… the streets literally FILLED with protesters carrying torches and pitchforks, when a sex obsessed investigator(UNTIL, the females at the college he was president of were being serially raped) spent $90 MILLION($140 million in today’s money) turning an investigation into a president LOSING money on a land deal in Arkansas ten years earlier, into porn flick.
Not saying that if that president’s behavior would’ve been different, the sex obsessed psyacho would’ve had anything to obsess ON. But the thought of ANY Republican politician whining about an investigation into THEM ending up with questions about their sex life… YOU HAVE GOT TO BE SH!TT!ING ME!
"…malicious intent to impugn Mr. Schock’s character.”
Quick question: Can someone’s character be impugned if they HAVE no character?
