That’s the obvious first conclusion, but the article states he was kicked off, presumably by Pence, who replaced Christie as head of the transition team.

Otherwise why put Giuliani in State? He has no experience internationally except because 9-11 and NYC has lots of foreigners and th UN. He’d make more sense as atty general. Maybe Blake Farenthold for the post? Though he has a law degree.
