I like Parrish a lot. A beautiful, lush quality to his work.
I think that Wyeth struck a lovely balance between strength and tenderness. And he captured action so well…the images don’t appear posed, you expect many of them to keep moving.

He had more taste, but I think of Parrish as the cecile b demille of painting. Wyeth I still like (and his son) but he didn’t have enough females for me. much later frazetta made up for that…in a way…
