Discussion: Ex-Daily Caller Blogger Criticizes Fox 'Monopoly' On Conservative TV News (VIDEO)

Well FOX has a audience who likes what they hear, so FOX tells their audience EXACTLY that. FOX is in for the MONEY and so they’ll do what it takes to protect their investment. And anyone who decides to go work for FOX knows exactly where they stand. IT’S said DON’T bite the hand feeds you.
As far as their ratings go, if you were to take all the other cable stations that have political pundits, but at the same time have a variety of other programs, add those ratings I think you would find that FOX IS NOT rated the highest. There are independents who seek out other opinions. FOX is a sole-source-beast unto itself who serves up the same KOOLADE to the like minded NON-thinker.
Of the three major political description of an individual’s political leanings, of Liberal, Conservative and Independent, the Independent voter far out rank the others. Indepdent voters are the fastest growing category. It’s hard to gather independents, these days. Back in the day, NOT to long ago, there used to be room for independent thinkers, but NOT these days. Back then, our government WORKED, our Representatives came together in some manner to make sure our country moved forward. But apparently that’s not going to happen now and as a result our government is broken and continues to move in a downward spiral. For some reason the FOX viewer think that’s a winner, UNBELIEVEABLE. Like their favorite source of knowledge, FOX, it’s our way or we’ll make sure it’s NO WAY…Consider, Loretta Lynch.
There are stubborn, stupid people out there, as proof look at FOX’s numbers.

You’re too modest. MK’s a great muse, but it takes talent to pair group masturbation and hunting dogs

I have no problem with right wing loons like Carlson and Kaus fighting among themselves over who is most conservative. Please pass the popcorn.

You can thank Michael Kinsley for his inexplicable professional lifespan. Kinsley thought so much of him and another TNR second stringer, Jacob Weisberg that he brought them to Slate. At some point even TNR would have decided it had better “contrarian liberals” (like Chait who wrote better) and finally got rid of him. Instead, he had a long life and more visibility on Slate.
