Anyway, Grimm’s a corrupt, venal, arrogant jackass of a retrograde thinker… which basically means he’s a perfect representative for Staten Island. He also does good interviews. He was on w/Ari Melber yesterday, and while he was clearly avoiding some answers, his evasions were almost on-topic, obviously well-reasoned, and delivered in an affable, easy manner. Even when the topic of the reporter came up, he basically said ‘yeah, I went too far, I was having a bad day and snapped and there’s no excuse for that, which is why I apologized to him when I cooled off’.
Like it or not, he’s a pretty polished politician (most of the time), and clearly not afraid to go into the lion’s den of MSNBC to get air-time. I expect he’ll win his primary.

Run for office- the 2018 elections are only 13 months away, and if Trump and Louie Gohmert can get elected what’s to stop a qualified candidate?
Become a Precinct Committee Officer, sometimes it’s a Ward officer. You’ll meet with neighborhood Dems and get out the vote. Find good citizens willing to run for office.
Register people to vote. If you need to help people overcome the GOP-led Voter run-around help them do that.
Run for School Board. Make sure Civics is being properly taught. Think a majority of America knows how government works? Just 26% of eligible voters in America voted for Trump and half of eligible voters stayed home last November. Today’s 12-year olds will be voting for President in 8 years.
Run for Mayor, City Council, County Commissioner, Borough Assembly.
Get appointed to your Planning Commission. Know everything going on in your community.
Run for State Legislature or Congress. The next census is in 2020, then we’ll redraw Congressional Districts. Get rid of GERRYMANDERING! Safe GOP seats gave us such intellectual giants as Louie Gohmert and Steve King. In most cases it’s the state Legislature that draws Congressional boundaries. Make it FAIR, OPEN and HONEST!
Overturn Citizens United. Money is NOT speech and Corporations are NOT people- at least not until Texas executes one.
Overturn any voter ID laws the are clearly an attempt to disenfranchise.

Grimm is the perfect choice for the GOP- a convicted felon ,with a history of ranting and raving like a lunatic. And, nothing says MAGA better than Michael Grimm,ex-con, and Stevie Bannon, ex- slovenly Leninist . A tax fraud and an intellectual fraud as mates. The right wing version of the Symbionese Liberation Army.
Bottom line, Stevie Bannon thinks the voters should give Grimm another “crack”, ala Marion Barry.

Steve Bannon was never a Leninist.
Bannon , I believe described himself as such. See ,The Guardian , 2/6/2017.
Bannon was talking about using Leninist methods to overthrow the state. But Bannon was never a left winger. It would have been more accurate for him to call himself a fascist who was trying to overthrow a liberal democracy in the way that Hitler or Mussolini did. But Bannon could not cop to that.
I know and did not mean to suggest that the slovenly,unkempt Steve Bannon was ever a left winger. He referenced himself as a " Leninist". And yes it would be much more accurate to call him a slovenly fascist or a slovenly anarchist. than his self proclaimed , “Leninist”.
