I think the question is whether anyone would believe that all the actors would lie to blame it on Christie. Does Christie have any recourse but to stand back and point and say “they’re all lying!!!”.?
That scenario isn’t believable, so whether they’re all liars or not, he’s fucked. But really…
Everyone knows the boss man approved it. Not only that, but I would say he loved that he could do it and he just had to push it a little too far because he’s a vindictive crook. His hubris forced him to keep lying. Everyone will turn on him for that in the end and it will be worse for him because of that. But who cares. He’s a turned into a really bad man. He has to resign for any hope of redemption.

As bad as the GOP is they were able to keep 2012 pretty close. They ran a crazy old maverick and Sarah Palin in 08. Really bad candidates but it was not a total blow-out. They ran a mormon in 12. All the while half the GOP thinks Mormonism is a cult. And they got close to 50%. We should be killing them. They should be on their deathbed. We should be doing more.

Study the attorney weasel words carefully. Marino is stating that Stephanie informed Christie of the idea of a bridge closure and we know that Christie denied prior knowledge of a plan to close the bridge. Christie need only bring forward a sacrifice aide who “mistakenly” told him that the idea had been rejected and, voila!, both statements are true. My bet is that Bridget Anne Kelly is ready to play that role if she’s needed in exchange for a nice tenured position in President Christie’s White House staff
I am shocked, SHOCKED that a statement made by Christie has turned out to be self-serving, misleading, unctuous, politically motivated, and false. Who would ever have foreseen this? I’m reminded of the Onion headline after Christie’s Ich bin nicht ein bully" press conference: "

This is a source of infinite mystery to me. The only thing I can figure is that this propaganda thing really, really works. The strict messaging to the base, the faux news sites and television channel, the talk radio, the “think tanks” to crank out “research,” and the “experts” groomed to “balance” the real experts. They are able to create a semblance of reality behind their talking points that comforts a large swath of Americans into believing that things haven’t changed, aren’t changing, and don’t need to change, all the while radically changing governance.
This could well be the smoking gun that sends BIG BOSS to THE BIG HOUSE.
If it is based on body weight, and it has to be, then double it boys.
