He’s a rich 65-year-old white man. He will be allowed bail pending appeals which will drag out for the rest of his lifetime.

I hope the civil suits start ASAP and, perhaps, visit at least some of the pain on him just as he’s caused to the 29 dead men’s families and countless others.

Good! Hopefully, this will give civil suits from the families of the dead workers greater standing and validity! Even if he doesn’t spend a day in jail, he will at least die penniless!

I would bet you Blankenship got to some of these jurors and made it worth their while to have come to this disgusting decision. This man is a murderer. he put profits over safety and there are years of data showing this. Follow the money. Investigate everyone of these jurors. Something fishy here. Stinks to high heaven.
