Parscale, like so many other young Trump victims, can’t jump off this rollercoaster because he’s at the very top… but when it all collapses, lets hope he has the sense to tell the whole truth, not the particle they have sequestered off to fool all of the people some of the time.
More than a few of Trump’s young, ambitious campaign victims are going to know what it is like to be separated from their families.
Kobach’s got ads running now in Kansas with him and his family, and Parscale has young children, too.
Did they realize when they were colluding with Russia that their time with those loved ones might be in serious jeopardy some day? If Parscale doesn’t come clean with Mueller’s people, he may know the same separation the immigrant families now suffer, and that is just a shame.
I don’t think Kobach can evade the inevitable, he is just too deep in it to have any sort of mitigating innocence, he’s even more ambitious than Trump. And Kobach still deludes himself that his authoritarian patrons can save him from his own overtly transparent legal malfeasance. He has offended REAL judges and been in contempt of their courts at so many junctures, the entire Trumpian falsehood he represents flies in the very face of “the rule of law” .
I’d say “What were they thinking” but I don’t think anyone caught up in the Trump campaign swamp wave could think past their own desperate ploy to achieve their dubious “victory”.
I don’t imagine Manafort considers this any sort of win, now. It is the biggest failure he could ever have engineered.
