Well Texas had Kinky Friedman as a serious contender for Governor - in a four-way race with the sitting gov, some Democrat whose name was forgotten ten minutes into the race, and White House Press Secretary’s mom, Carole Keeton Strayhorn Rylander Keeton, which, my children, is how Rick Perry stayed in office.
